J. Anthony Bryan received his bachelor degree from San Francisco State University and his Juris Doctor degree from Loyola Law School. He has been successfully representing criminal defendants for over forty years, but he has also been a city prosecutor, so he knows how things work on both sides of a case.
Mr. Bryan received his Honorable Discharge from the United States Marine Corps in 1965, and is also a former firefighter with the United States Forest Service. Mr. Bryan was once described by the Bakersfield Californian as the “Courtroom Tornado,” and he was the winner of the 2003 Atticus Finch Award for “unwavering commitment to his clients and the law.” He is highly skilled in criminal defense, and has been appointed by the court on dozens of death penalty cases.
When a defendant’s life is on the line, courts and clients trust Mr. Bryan.
Mr. Bryan’s latest criminal defense book is Handbook for the Accused, which is currently available in bookstores, online, and by clicking the link below.
